My brother serenaded my sister-in-law at their reception by singing "The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra (Some day...when I'm awfully low, when the world is cold, I will feel a glow just thinking of you, and the way you look tonight - I could continue, but I won't, LOL). There wasn't a dry eye in the house. I LOVES ME SOME FRANK SINATRA - the man was a true mack. Their first dance was to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Very nice.

One friend of mine had her first dance as "A Whole New World" by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle, from the Aladdin soundtrack. I thought, wow, what a great song...you know, starting off in the new life together as husband and wife...a whole new world.

"So Amazing" by Luther Vandross is a good one. "Love has truly been good to me, not even one sad day or minute have I had since you've come my way." DAMN, I wanna feel like that, LOL.

You've got to make sure to listen to the entire lyrics of the whole song, because there are nice songs out there that unfortunately get a little NASTY. Like "Adore" by Prince..."Love is to weak to define just what you mean to me" is nice, but he gets a little freaky deaky in there too "Was I the first, was I your every fantasy"...uh, that's too much info for a wedding. Another one that gets you is "You've Got a Friend" by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack - "You just call out my name, and you know wherever I am..." but then there's that part where they're talkin' about "they'll take your soul if you let them" and stuff like that that ain't all that cute.

"You're All I Need (to get by)" by Ashford and Simpson is a good one too. "We got the right foundation..."

That's enough for now (smile).
