My sister has never had very nice things to say about Ohio, but I don't think it's all *that* bad...just in certain places. The place where my boyfriend is has got to be the most godforsaken place in the state--it's out in the middle of nowhere, and the college is dead (and I mean dead) on the weekends. Coming from a larger state university, this is so weird to me! The best party I ever went to up there had about 30 people at it, which is evidently HUGE by their standards.
But hey, at least there are a few bars around, so I guess it could be a lot worse.
