Since you offered the information, UNC Pembroke just brought Kappa Delta to campus last year AND has Gamma Phi Beta lined up to colonize next year IF conditions warrant. If Panhellenic recruitment numbers continue to rise, they will be adding another chapter, but it is already predetermined which NPC will come. If the recruitment numbers remain constant or are not large enough to add another chapter, they won't.

ADPi is not going to be at UNC Pembroke while you're an undergrad.

ETA: ADPi has alumnae chapters in Durham, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Greensboro, none of which are close to Pembroke. There are a handful in South Carolina too, but the closest one (Florence/Pee Dee) is still an hour away. Even if there was an alumnae chapter closeby, it is VERY different from the undergraduate experience.

If you feel a close tie to Alpha Delta Pi nationally, and don't care that you won't have an undergraduate experience if you transfer to UNC-Pembroke or anywhere else without an ADPi chapter, by all means, go through initiation.

If you want to have an undergraduate Greek experience for more than this semester, drop out during your Alpha period and go through recruitment at UNC Pembroke.
