You should make some over sized money (like big coins from cardboard & foil) or a giant tooth. I've always had this image in my mind of a small fairy trying to haul around human sized objects.
BONUS POINTS:
Get your boyfriend to dress like Steve Martin in Little Shop of Horrors. Get someone else to be a Venus flytrap (maybe your dog?).
