Are you asking if you should befriend sorority members solely with the end goal of getting invited to COB?
If so, I find that sorority members can tell from a mile away when someone is being ultra-nice just so they can get invited to COB.
Just interact with them and meet them in a natural manner, and if someone thinks you may be interested or that you'd make a good member, they'll invite you.

Yep, that's what I meant - shove my way into getting an invite. Good point, but that is kind of random - to just walk up to a sister and ask. :x
