The campus has always had four days of recruitment and anywhere from 4-6 sororities over the past 20+ years. Using RFM, would eliminating one day cause the strong returning chapters (who already cut 50-60% following day one) to eliminate even more PNMs after the first day(70-80%)? Or would the cuts become more spread out (maybe 40% following day one and 40% following day two)? I fear that by eliminating one day of a four-day schedule, recruitment becomes more stressful and competitive for both the chapters and the PNMs. Any thoughts?

I would follow the advice of your RFM Specialists and your NPC Area Advisors. If the RFM Specialties that works with your campus is recommending going from 5 days to 4 days, there is a reason. Your Fraternity/Sorority Advisor and Panhellenic should know this reason so ask.
A campus I work with has the same schedule as the one you described and it was recommended that they
not go down to four days. The answer is all the numbers and RFM works. Your NPC Delegates would also be involved in that conversation so you can go to them and their team for guidance.
Good luck!
