Every member of your sorority is an ambassador for your organization. To everyone she meets, she gives off an image of who the rest of you all are, whether you like it or not. So if she is a slut and gives that image, then you are saying that you wouldn't mind if someone thought that you were a slut. I know that it is cruel and unfair, but that is how it works. New members are supposed to build you up, not drag down your reputation. And if reputations were not important to everyone, then why do we get upset when we hear about MTV doing a story on a sorority? People believe what they hear...think about it.
