About the dues - I have a suggestion. A community service group I belong to has a "pay as you play" type of system. There are no dues to be a member. Though, if you want a t-shirt, you pay for it. Want to go to the annual trip to Disneyland? You pay for it. Want an embroidered club jacket? You pay for it. Club dinners? You guessed it! You pay or you don't eat!

I like this idea. We're scattered all over the world, so it's not like we can get together for a formal or anything very easily.

We have the force of numbers to get bulk discounts on things like T-shirts... you want a T-shirt, you pay your share to whoever is coordinating T-shirt orders. Same with badges. Rush, that lovely huge expenditure that all GLO's have to face, is not really relevant - how can you put on a skit in cyberspace?

In short... we don't really "need" the dues.
(Actually that brings up another point... how do we "rush" ?)
