"Pilot funding was given by DePauw University. Emison asked another DePauw alumnus, Norval Stephens, Chairman of the Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation to determine if fraternities and sororities would join the effort.

“With the exception of welcome support from DePauw University and the University of California, Irvine, other universities we contacted were facing deficits and cutbacks and could not participate,” Emison said. “But the response from the Greek world was exceptional and is still coming in. I sense the fraternities and sororities want to join with college administrations to be part of the solution, not just part of the problem,” he added.

Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Gamma Delta, Chi Omega, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta and Kappa Kappa Gamma are women's fraternities sponsoring the project. Among the men's fraternities are Alpha Tau Omega, Beta Theta Pi, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Alpha Order, Phi Gamma Delta and Phi Kappa Psi."

Thank you to all. This is wonderful news and badly needed.
