I'm wondering how my 2nd year is going to play out because I'm on journal and I'm a tutor for Torts. The 1L's are already bombarding me with questions and they are only working on intent!

At my school the journals warned us that it would be approximately 20 hours per week of work (30-40 for the law review), and that was a fairly accurate estimate. I think that if you go into it expecting that much time (for cite checks, etc.), you'll be pretty well-prepared. I did it while working full-time, and although it was exhausting, it was manageable. You should be fine, even with the tutor position.
Good luck with the 2nd year!
