There's a whole book written by Courtney's father about the incident.. although I'm sure a little biased since it was written by a distraught father who needs someone/something to blame for the tragic death of his daughter. I'm not sure of the name though.
Secondly back to the original post about the story about Berkely I live in San Fran so our local news did a bigger story about it than what others saw aired nationally. The campus is indeed going to dry soror/frat houses, and it did indeed place greeks in a bad light, but they did interview a sorority member, and I believe a frat member, who both I must say didn't speak VERY eloquently.. as I recall the girl said.. "it'sa judgement call... there's always going to be alchol, it's the call about wheter to drink it or not should be up to you." not really the thing people needed to hear. Why don't they report that EVERY PARTY on campus or near campus.. or whatever has alcohol at it... why don't they point out that many non greeks die from binge drinking as well. The story did point out however that many of the organizations do have strict rules about alcohol in place. I agree we need more greek reporters... there are 6 broadcast majors in my chapter alone...
