I hear you doting dad! Good luck to your daughter this afternoon. We were in the same situation a couple of years ago. Being out of state can be hard when it seems like everyone else has their high school connections - both on the inside and having close friends going through the recruitment process along with you.
On the other hand - maybe there is one advantage to being out of state. It is much easier to keep an open mind and not get caught up in the "sidewalk" talk.
