Not for free. IIRC, at some schools, PNMs pay a (mostly insignificant) amount to go through recruitment. Not to mention buying new clothes/shoes for the rounds.
ETA: Registering for recruitment (which, by the way a PNM only has until Saturday to register AT ALL for recruitment at UGA) is $160 at UGA.
