If there's one thing clear in the books, it's that the youthful Harry, like He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, considered Hogwarts his real home.
In any event, Harry was born on July 31, 1980 (per JKR) or July 31, 1982 (per description in the first chapter of
Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone). That means he will be 29 (or 27) this coming Friday. (Happy Birthday, Harry!) He left Privet Drive for good just before his 17th birthday, or 12 (10?) years ago. He has kids now, yet he's going through recruitment at a secondary school in Scotland?

Which reminds me--->If Bill was SK for Shell Cottage and he told Ron, how was Ron able to tell Harry where Dobby should take them? None of the Order could tell Harry about Grimmauld Place, DD had to write him a note, so how was Ron able to spill the secret?

I think that the Fidelius Charm was placed after the incident at Malfoy Manor -- when it became clear that Ron was with Harry, not at the Burrow with Spattergoit -- and after Harry, Ron and Hermione arrived at Shell Cottage. That's when the Weasley's had to go into hiding.
