Maybe threads from days/weeks ago were similar to mine, but sorry, I don't really care to search that far back when I can simply create a new post! If I had known posting such a thing (God forbid) would've created such a backlash, I wouldn't have posted it. So, I apologize to all that I have irked, but seriously, if you don't have anything informative to say, why post?

If you read the "Top Newbie Questions" thread, the first thing it says is to do a search. There is actually quite a bit written here that's current about UGA recruitment for upperclassmen (sophs and juniors). The recruitment culture at UGA hasn't changed since 2008 (time when other posts were made).
Bottom line: if you think you want to rush, by all means do it. You'll have a tough time getting a bid.
But even if you don't, you'll meet some new people.
