I won't even go through my whole schpiel about how much I loved the movie even though I was totally distracted by how many things were left out--too tired, I'll do it later, but I can answer this question right quick. (I think you literally did want to know? If not, well then I'm explaining it for the other people who didn't read the books. )

"Half-Blood Prince" is the nickname Snape gave to himself while in school. His mother, Eileen Prince was a witch and his father was a Muggle (no magical blood). As far as wizarding genes goes, he's only a half-blood, thanks to the Prince side of the family.

But I did wonder (and I may have said this before, I'm sleepy, I can't remember)...who noticed that Lavender was a black girl three movies ago? I caught the change immediately (and confirmed it through Wiki), but I'm not sure if anyone else was looking that closely.
