The college can do this. You aren't a national organization so there is not much your group can do. The college has a duty to protect students and if you're organization was kicked off for hazing or some other activity that presents a threat to student safety, they are within their right to expel members of your brotherhood.

Also based on what the university has said, violating criminal law sounds serious and not "stupid stuff."
Agreed, this sounds a tad more serious than just doing something "stupid".

You chose to join an organization that the University has plainly stated that members may be "charged disciplinary and dismissed from the College." Can't say you weren't warned ahead of time. Ya'll really don't have any grounds to complain when the University followed through.
