None of the philanthropies at UCSD were mandatory. At least not dictated by the school or IFC/Panhellenic. It was up to each chapter to come up w/ a system to get people involved. Pathetically, but successfully, there's a lot of bribery involved. Don't get me wrong, were not paying people off. But there's always a prize for the chapter that has the best attendance and/or contributes the most to the event. Maybe ya'll can do something like that?
