It took me a long time to get through the first episode. I watched it online and I had to keep pausing it and restarting because it was too much for me to stomach all at once. I may need help with this because I have high moral standards when it comes to premarital sex anyway so I don't understand the crawling into bed with someone who isn't your husband ... but I digress...
First of all, I was wondering ... since when do you make such an important, life-altering decision such as who to have sex with and not talk with that person about the possibility of having children? I understand that people have one-night stands (I can't judge, I've never done it) with strangers and talking about having kids in situations such as these are awkward ... awkward, maybe, but not unnecessary! And if that potential sex partner is a significant other, I don't think there is any excuse for not talking about it!
In the first episode, I was mad at Maci(?) and her boyfriend. She should have taken care of business before ever deciding to have a child with him because it's quite obvious that he is a jerk and not willing to step up, be a man, stop hanging out with his friends so much, and be an integral part of his child's life. And he, like I said, is a jerk and I was so mad every time he walked out to go hang out with his friends.
I don't know how much more of the show I can take ... I also watched the cheerleader (Farrah) whose mom was overbearing and Ebony who seemed to be in the most promising relationship of all.
