Drug Charges: Four Iowa Delta Upsilon Members
IOWA CITY - Police in Iowa City have made a big drug bust inside a University of Iowa fraternity. There could be more charges coming. Police arrested four members of the Delta Upsilon fraternity late last week. They are facing charges of drug possession and intent to sell marijuana, but police also found pills and powder in the rooms.
Police arrested Stephen Boyler, Joseph Hillegass, James Goetz, and Arthur Kerwin. They also arrested Susan Kemper, who was in Goetz’ room when police arrived shortly after 6am.
Police say Boyler, Hillegass and Goetz each had high grade marijuana packaged for resale in their rooms. Goetz reportedly had a pound and a half of pot in his room. Iowa City Police Sergeant Troy Kelsay said, “The individuals knew one another, were aware of one another's sales and had the same sources of at least the marijuana."
