I'm in
Phi Beta, which is an arts fraternity. My chapter never did candlelights or special ceremonies for things like engagements. But we're also coed, so we didn't do those more "girly" things anyway. (Sorry, don't know a better way to put that!
)
We had a few local sororities (no NPC) on campus, and I'm pretty sure
all of them had special events like candlelights for engagements, weddings and other personal events.
