I'd rethink rushing if you know FOR SURE that you're going to transfer.

I've heard of girls rushing, but knowing that they didn't like the school and were going to transfer. They assume "Oh I'll just join the chapter at my new school." They don't consider that IF there is a chapter at the new school (which there may not even be), that they may not fit in with them (because every chapter is different) or that they may not be asked to affiliate (or be unable to due to chapter policies). They end up disappointed when it doesn't work out the way they thought and they don't end up in the chapter at the new school. They also end up being alumnae at like 21 or 22.
