Here are the things I've used to relieve a bad sunburn:

Very few showers...the water tends to dry out your skin! You need to keep your skin moisturized! Use aloe vera or some of those funky green gells for sunburns (feel great when refriderated!). For the face...such as your nose and hairline...I recommend neosporin! I blister easily and have severly burned my whole body from a tanning bed before. So I know how bad it can be!
I have also used viniger in the shower to sooth the burn. It stinks, but helps.
Furthermore, I've found Vaseline Intensive Care loition with lipids to help too. Unfortunately most loitions trap in heat, but it feels great once your burn starts to dissapear!
