Lots of ALOE, ALOE, ALOE!

As a champion of many sunburns (hey, the beach is practically my 2nd home!), it's come in handy that we have aloe growing in our backyard. When the pain kicks in, I usually just go out back and rip the plant off. I understand that not everyone has aloe growing in the backyard, so the bottle kind works just as well. Stay out of the sun for a while and wear appropriate clothing until you're feeling better. The aloe will help your skin stay intact, but just in case you're peeling like bananas, let the skin fall off on its own. Don't try to peel it yourself...accidentally scratching yourself is a bish and half!
