To add to epchick's post, there are achievements for glam, one each for accessories, clothes and rides. I've been using them, working my way up in glam items so I could get each achievement. I'm a couple hundred shy of the platinum for outfits and accessories, but I'm working on it! The platinum for rides was just revealed, and at the moment the only way to get it is to buy 25 pink bugs with BPs - not going to happen!

Riding - owning any ride
Riding in Style - owning 5 rides, each with a Popularity of at least 5
Riding in Incredible Style - owning 25 rides, each with a Popularity of at least 7
Riding Far Above it All- owning 25 rides, each with a Popularity of at least 15
Outfits
Well-Dressed - owning any 5 outfits
Dressed to the Nines - owning 25 outfits, each with a Charm of at least 4
Killer Wardrobe - owning 120 outfits, each with a Charm of at least 8
Wardrobe to Die For: owning 500 outfits, each with a Charm of at least 18
Accessories
Freshman Accessorizer - owning any 5 accessories
Sophomore Accessorizer - owning 25 accessories, each with a Charm or Popularity of at least 4
Junior Accessorizer - owning 120 accessories, each with a Charm or Popularity of at least 8
Senior Accessorizer: owning 500 accessories, each with a Charm or Popularity of at least 16
