AEPi was recently chartered at my school, College of Charleston. They are traditionally a Jewish fraternity, but you don't have to be Jewish to join. They're really open to whatever denomination you may be.

As far as fraternities in general go, most have no specific religious affiliation, but are built upon Christian ideals. I say definitely go through rush! If you hate, there's no law that says you have to accept a bid. But I have seen that a lot of people who go through rush not being sure if they really want to be greek end up really loving it.
