Some people just aren't joiners, and nothing you can say or do will change that. My bf is that type of person. I used rhochi2002's strategy on him once (asking him what he'd be coming back to for Homecoming) and he replied that he wouldn't
be coming back. That was the last time I brought up the idea of getting involved on campus.
