People in North Dakota care about their families and likely behave in similar ways, but it just isn't as good tv to fight over tractors, heads of cattle, or failing your 4-H project. Oh I don't really care. LOL. People know the stereotypes, so it is what it is.
The Real Housewives promoters also know the stereotypes and played on the images to get people intrigued. "Oooooh! There's a MAFIA FAMILY!!! Exciting!"
