Some of these songs are already on here, but we sing them a little differently. The following is how we do our meet and greet day of Formal Recruitment. If it is difficult to read feel free to ask me for clarification.
*Beginning of formal recruitment all actives crowd the door and when the knock comes, start singing as door opens, have PNMs stand outside until you start to walk them in
**Keep a steady clap, unless I type otherwise, first line clap on me, D, E, L, and A
Give me a D and an E and a L-T-A
And a Z and an E and T-A (clap on Z, E, T, A)
Delta Zeta Delta Zeta is the one you should choose, (back to normal, steady clap)
Be a DZ girl at F-S-U (change to your school letters ex) my school was Ferris State University FSU ** clap each letter of college)
Delta Zeta, Delta Zeta Says How do you do? (wave hello with both hands)
Delta Zeta Delta Zeta Does welcome you (wave hands in a ‘come this way’ motion)
So come on in, here’s your cue, Be a DZ girl cause we want you (point to yourself on we and want, and point to them at you)
Welcome to the Delta Zeta Party, Come on in (wave entire arms, motioning in. Then every active grabs a PNM and walks them in the room)
*Immediately go into next chant while walking the PNM to the circle

We then do introductions and chat to everyone, then teach them Im a D

Then we break everyone (Actives and PNMs) into two groups (make them as fair as possible) and have actives take a minute or so to make sure that the PNMs know the song
Then have a chant off, each time increasing the speed and volume of the chant. One side will do, then the other and so on for like 3 rounds, then both teams say it together. Make sure you are really encouraging the PNMs. We normally start off with a little space between the two groups and each time we chant we move closer.
*Start walking the girls to the door for them to leave
