I'm also a member of Order of Omega - I was initiated during the fall semester of my junior year. We mainly did community service.
If you meet the basic requirements (GPA, campus involvement, etc) then definitely apply. Starlet is right in that no more than 3% of greeks on a campus can join Order of Omega, so it's quite an honor to be selected.
