Notice that I said "Delta Gamma's in San Jose." I didn't say, "Delta Gamma's at San Jose State University." I know that the show was taped at Santa Clara U....but I didn't think the GCers in Kansas would know where Santa Clara is.
I figured that San Jose would be a more recognizeable location. And, as you say, SJ is ony 15 minutes down the road.
For example, I live in Long Beach, CA - Long Beach is a city in it's own right. But, when I'm in Arkansas, I tell people that I'm from Los Angeles... it's just easier that way.
Sorry if I offended the residents of Santa Clara.
