We have an ACACIA chapter on our campus. From what I understand it's one of their top chapters around the country. They've won grades almost every semester (except last one where we won! and as Beta said above, we probably will keep winning also ). From my understanding of them Acacia is the Greek word for peace and their roots are in masonry. I believe they were a direct offshoot of masonry and in the beginning were a 'masons only' type of fraternity. Their entire ritual and symbollism has something to do with the Pythagorean Theorum.

They're a real group of guys and most of them I think would say that their top two houses during rush were Sigma Nu and Acacia
