Hi,
Though maybe untimely at this point...
As a good friend of several tri-delt grads from USC, I will tell you this:
They are intelligent, wonderful, caring women. They care deeply about each other, their families and their communities.
As do so many students at USC. Judging a sorority as snobby at a school that is considered snobby is tough. The old nickname for USC is "University of Spoiled Children." So, check it out and keep an open mind. Most people think of sorority girls as spoiled. It's a prejudice, same as any other.
You will find girls who sleep around, drink a lot, do drugs, blah, blah, blah, and all the other negative attributes people attach to sorority girls as identifying marks. These girls are Greek, Independent, white, black, rich, poor, etc., etc. You get my point.
The most important thing is not what other people think about your sorority, but what you think about your sorority. If you take sisterhood seriously, then of course you want to be connected to a group of girls you can truly care about, not just look good with.
My $ 0.02,
Molly*
