I dont want it to be misconstrued that I am just KOMPLETELY anit grad. Im actually not. but in all honesty the fuckery that has been pulled by them and Grand Chapter as whole is ridiculous. the example of what I am speaking is right on this message board. Theundergrad younger Npe on the board , not only emailed me directly, but called me Nupe just to find out that I made and kicked it with the Spring 92 line from his own chapter. Even got the way to forward information to him about hi old school that he didnt have including phone numbers. then look at us now Phi, I feel like Ive known you forever and its based on silly ass Girard and Boss Klean himself, Rob Base (that was a smooth ass Nupe right ther Phi, worked MAGIC with them clippers! Iremeber he was the first person to rock the afro in the 1990's before anyone else even THOUGHT about doing it!). But then I got a St. Pete Alumni cat on here that had access to the same information that you and the younger Nupe that emailed me, and I heard nothing. At least love the Bond enough to investigate. Undergrads are the true lifeline of the Bond because their minds can be shaped in Kappa and also in regardss to how to be MEN. whereas grad niggas truly believe that chronological age takes precedence before years in the Bond. They aint never changing that so its no need for me to accept them in actuality. I merely tolerate. So since I STILL hadnt heard from this dude and I just about got al his information anyway, his bed is made and you know the rest of the story from there.
Now I also have to admit this, with respect to regions of the country, you know the Bond is different up North and in the Midwest, so the mentality of the Grad member there is more easily shaped because they SAW what it was as undergrads so they know the business once they are done. Between wack ass HBCU's taing over a trillion dudes to the preaching of sussness (i.e. Dudes wearing T- Shirts with ritual information on it), it is disgusting. By Gods grace, I helped change the game here in Atlanta as far as the Nupey is concerned. It wasnt easy but the main obstacles i faced came from Alumni. but I waslucky because what they didnt realize is that the young men WANT to get made. they WANT to have the same experience their fathers and uncles and grandfathers had. So here is my response. when Grand chapter remebers that we are brothers, when Alumni remebers we are brothers..and i mean BROTHERS things will change. The FAMU situation was ridiculous and their biggest enemies came fro within the Bond not outside of it. It took a white jdge to review all of it and realize that the decision rendeered was asinine, but it was Grand chapter that didnt attempt toprotect their brother but set their brother out.
I wil never forgive them for that and my mission in life is to continue to be a good Nupe and brother, the way the founders intended. Be honest Nupe, do your REALLY think someone who would bring nonsense to DZ wouldnt get dealt with? The way you Nupes set it out for the brothers? And all you all do is just be the Nupes, So anyone who would bring trouble to your doorstep better know for a fact that if nothing else Gamma Upsilon is going to deal with them for what they tried to do to our brother. You KNOW how people like that get done.
but Im getting a little too deep Phi. bottom line is this. The proof is in the pudding. We went from adversaries to allies in less than two pages of typing? why is that? Because we were made. Because we were made undergrad. Because REAL Nupes walk in the same circles. Kapp aaint hard. suss niggas just make it that way. I just got told by a Fall 2008 Alumni nigga to be prepared to "back the shit up Im talking" My 19 years in the Bond mean nothing. so is he my brother? Or is he just some nigga who bought the letters that I have too.
