This is a terrible thing to happen. Anyone who has ever lost a friend or a chapter member knows the pain.
I can understand the investigation of AEPi if Nunez was drinking on their charter bus; but, why would Sigma Pi be suspended? Yes, Nunez was a member of Sigma Pi, but it was an Alpha Epsilon Pi event. Also, what about the bar? 18 year olds could come in, but the drinking age is still 21 (if he bought or drank at the bar). Unless something else comes to light, Sigma Pi as an organization doesn't appear to be involved and shouldn't be suspended.
