LOL, now that you've clarified, you are right. Younger children are less likely to know about the scandal as it is mainly on entertainment shows and online.
However, I am also addressing the fact that they may be some how trying to "work" the scandal into the show. That would be crossing, spitting on, and dancing all over the line. If they want to get a divorce/go to counseling/whatever, fine, but not on camera. Not if it will hurt the kids or force them to relieve their parents painful mistakes and publically deal with such a private issue in any way. Once it's on TV you can't take it back. I hope they don't forget the "+8" part when it comes to dealing with their lives.
