This might've been a hit right after the movie, but now all I can think is that they're going to butcher a milestone from my childhood. Some things are timeless and can always be re-made (like Disney movies that become series). I think the hang-up is that
10 Things is a culturally specific interpretation of
The Taming of the Shrew (which pretty much everyone knew when it came out). If ABC was going to remake that work specific to 2009 it might be okay. But to recreate an interpretation is what'll throw it under the bus--too much copying IMO.
