I am being a totally irresponsible Mom by taking two mini-vacations without my kids. I'm spending a weekend with DoctorD at a beach house for a single mom girls' weekend. I'm also going to spend a long weekend with friends who live in Albany, KY and have a houseboat on Dale Hollow Lake. A whole weekend of hanging out on a boat, swimming, fishing, and, what we call "unlaxing" because it's far beyond RElaxing in one of the most beautiful places on earth
I am hoping to plan a long weekend with the kids too. My vacation time has been cut by two days so that is kind of limiting us. We may have to wait until February to go to my brother's condo in Gulf Shores, AL, but I do hope to take them there.
