PR was my first exec position and i had to hit the ground running. the previous exec didnt leave me with anything so i pretty much had to create our PR program. The place i started with was philanthropy. We participated in everything philo we were invited to, and even a few that we weren't initially invited to. easiest way to get your name out there is to participate in other greeks events.
and we'd do little things like heart attacks and serenades just to make an impression on individual chapters.
just a few little things to start to get your feet wet and your name out there.
