For anyone out there who likes to crochet, I have a wonderful organization that could use your help! I know this is the Knitter's thread, but this is a great philanthropy. All Shades of Pink is a non-profit organization of crocheters who make "comfort blankets" for breast cancer patients at my hospital in Prince George's County, MD. These blankets are given to women when they come in for their surgeries, and all of the patients have been absolutely thrilled with these blankets. These women are amazing.
