The lower peninsula Michigan chapters (Alpha Beta-U of M, Alpha Pi-Wayne State, Alpha Upsilon-Central Michigan, Zeta Alpha-Eastern Michigan, Zeta Epsilon-Michigan Tech, Zeta Nu-Alma, Zeta Omicron-Kettering, and Zeta Sigma-Northwood...I hope I'm not forgetting anyone) held IRD on saturday in Livonia Michigan, hosted by the Western Wayne County Alumnae Club.
I love IRD! I was a little miffed that it was in Livonia because for the past two years it's been hosted by the Detroit Northern Suburban Alumnae Club in the city right next to my hometown and it was soooo convenient for me! But anyway, now they're rotating hostesses so next year will be the Mid-Michigan Alumnae Chapter. This year, the Greek Store, Collegiate Connections, came up from Bowling Green (Ohio) and set up a couple of table with shirts, jackets, picture frame, candles, glasses, lavaliers, etc...your wallet's basic nightmare (
)...and we pretty much clean them out. Never underestimate the buying power of Alpha Gams!
