According the
article linked in the first post, there is a bookcase on the other side, and there is a two-foot gap between the bookcase and the store-front.
If anyone has linked this, I missed it, so
here is Barnes and Nobles' press release. Interesting that they specifically say that they believe that the person taking the picture is also the person who put the book there in the first place.
