I am sorry if my post is misleading and confusing to you but hopefully I can answer the questions you gave me.

When you said...

“But what university would encourage legislation to keep its name secret?"

What do you mean by "legislation"? What I meant by I could not say there name for legal reasons is that my University does not want its name to be advertise with another group and/or entity unless it’s a partner. For example, on MySpace I could say I go to XYZ University, but I could not have my own website with its name and logo and information about the campus.

For the questions you ask for #4, yes. But are organization also does community service work and some of the community service projects that we are a part of raise money. As an example, we help our community outreach department raise money for High School and or Prospective University students to receive Scholarships.

And to address your last paragraph...

”I hope you're trying to start something for more than just stepping. Also, you say "you already have the paperwork" to make your group nationally recognized. There's is no recognition paperwork. What exactly are you talking about?"

That was an assumption mistake on my part when I browsed through the forums on topics concerning starting a Sorority/Fraternity. Most topics stated things that needed to be on paper, i.e. a set of Rules/Guidelines for joining and staying in the Fraternity/Sorority, A mission statement, etc. I was trying to basically dodge those statements from being repeated on this topic. But I guess my wording was not clear and I do apologize for that.

I assure you that even though our group is labeled as a "Step Club", we are about more than just stepping. Every member is a dedicated individual that wants to enrich his/her life and our community and we are trying our best to learn everything we can about GLOs and would like to be recognized as one not just for self gratification, but to start a new movement within our own University because it has campuses all over the United States. And we feel that since there is no other "Club" like ours, what better way to show pride for our University and it's hard working students then to start a trend that could catch on to other campuses, and enrich the lives of students by making them proud and helping our country one campus at a time.
