I have to admit that I haven't been following this story until yesterday when I spent several hours in a salon reading a lot of rags. In one article, they said that 3 of the first 6 children have special needs (1 is autistic and they didn't specifically state something about the other 2). One of the photographers who went to her house said that it was an absolute pigsty and that there was food smeared all over the walls. Instead of curtains, there were dirty bed sheets hanging over the windows. There was very little furniture, but they had things like trampolines and toys everywhere. It actually made me so sad for these children.
ETA- She doesn't have cribs for the new babies yet, but apparently she goes to Starbucks every day.
It will be interesting to see if any of the octopulets have any special needs, too. Between the low birth weights and the fact they were early, it is likely that at least one of them will have something. Too sad.
