Sheer justice. I had to take a short trip this week, and was doing 85 mph - at least, that's what the speedometer said. I got stopped, and was informed that I was actually doing 94 mph. I have a lead foot at times. It was your perfect driving time. But that car was simply not capable of doing 94, and as I said, I had just looked at the speedometer, and have been told several times that it will register faster than you're really going, just so you will slow down. The Lawman said he was giving me a break and put 74 mph on the ticket (70 mph), so I wouldn't get any points. The ticket itself is $163.

I haven't decided if I'm going to fight it or not. Is it really worth the time & trouble, or is this the only revenue the town gets? Even if I do win, I'll lose at least one day's work, and have to pay to go back. Paybacks, I guess!
