This was my timeframe too. Bolded were HUGE with us. I also remember:
- Layering different colored socks to match the outfit
- The side-ponytail
- Colored rubber bands on braces (more middle school)
- Cheerleading shoes with the different color discs to match your outfit
- Swatch watches. The more the better - especially wearing your boyfriend's
- Shoulder pads
- Pastel floral dresses. Preferably with shoulder pads.
- Blue eyeshadow
- Benetton
- JCrew barn jackets. (I miss mine now and would wear it still.)
- Poofy sleeved prom dresses. All my prom dresses had poofy sleeves.
- Anything teal.
- Add-a-beads and twist-a-beads (might have been more middle school too)
(Great thread! All the mid-90s stuff takes me back to college! Especially Umbros. I recently went through all my old pics, and I think I'm wearing Umbros in half of them.)
