Happy Valentine's to all of you, too!

It has been a really, well, different day.

My ex-BIL's father died, and his funeral was today, so I went. First I've seen most of the people on my ex's side of the family in 4+ years.

Best comment of the day, and this is NOT why I went to the funeral:

"DoctorD, you look 10 years younger!"

This was from my ex-BIL's mom.

I didn't say it was because I was no longer married to my ex-husband, although I will admit I thought it.

Truthfully, I wouldn't have NOT been there. This man was special, and I still care for my ex-inlaws.

After that, I went to see "He's Just Not That Into You" with 2 of my former students. Perfect movie today!

Different day, but I did exactly what I needed to do today.
