Yeah, I always wondered why you guys had to snub the rest of the Miami GLOs and put your HQ somewhere else.
As I noted yesterday, our HQ, which is called "Lyrecrest," is nowhere near Boston, where we were founded. I forgot, however, about an interesting factoid about Lyrecrest. The address in Evansville is 10600 Old State Rd. Coincidentally, this address -- 10600 -- corresponds to the date (two years to the day after our founding) that we established our Beta Chapter and went national: October 6, 1900. Lyrecrest has three buildings on about 5 acres; there is also a small lake or pond and an oil well. (The oil well predates our purchase of the property 1970; I don't think it's operational anymore.)
