I probably wouldn't have said anything and just assumed she could've been a member at another school. There's a lot of people I know who were member of fraternities and sororities at other school and just decided not to affiliate at UCF. I actually have a FSU Tri-Delta and a Western Michigan Sig Ep in my classes who just didn't feel like going through the process of affiliation but still wear their letters proudly.
But, on a sidenote, my younger sister who is still in high school was begging me one day for one of my ZTA shirts. I gave her my old, Bid Day '99 shirt. It's not a letter shirt, just a t-shirt so I didn't see any harm in it.
