I was discussing that same thing with someone. The week before, I loved how Malik was talking some sense into Jason about his over-the-top antics with Kelly. Just a week later, he goes over the top and outs Big Man. Such a villain!
I know that was an uncomfortable situation for Malik to feel a hairy lip kissing his neck for the first time, but that could've been kept private if he had a little control. He probably just ruined the guy's career (which is sad that being identified as gay can be so damaging rather than "ok...so what").
Plus, kids should be kept to a minimum on the show. They belong as a small part because kids are a reality for a lot of single people.
